On November 28, 2017, the “2017 Asia-Pacific International Economic Cooperation Annual Meeting” hosted by Beijing Association for the Promotion of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation was successfully held at the APEC International Convention and Exhibition Center in Yanqi Lake. How to let Chinese SMEs catch up with the “One Belt, One Road” development

Dear Vice Chairman Bai Lizhen, distinguished leaders, distinguished guests, friends from the business community, good morning everyone!

Thank you very much for coming to the opening ceremony of the 2017 Asia-Pacific International Economic Cooperation Annual Conference. The theme of this forum is to promote Asia-Pacific economic cooperation and help the development of the Belt and Road. As the organizer of the forum, I am only in the middle of the Beijing Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Promotion Association. The leaders who came to the meeting expressed their sincere gratitude for the Asia-Pacific business leaders, academic elites, experts and scholars who came to participate in the summit to provide support and wisdom. They warmly welcomed and paid high respects.

The Beijing Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Promotion Association is an international organization dedicated to strengthening economic and trade cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. It was registered in the Civil Affairs Department in 1996. Since its founding 21 years ago, the Asian Council has established close and far-reaching cooperation with the UN Council and APEC. The Asia-Pacific countries have successfully hosted many economic and trade cooperation forums and achieved good results. In recent years, in order to adapt to the changes in the international new economic structure, and actively respond to the initiative of the "One Belt, One Road" strategic concept put forward by General Secretary Xi, the Asian Games, as an important channel connecting the bridges of economic and trade exchanges and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, has the responsibility and obligation to shoulder the historical revolution. To help Chinese SMEs seize the opportunities of world transformation and development, and provide suggestions for China's SMEs to participate in international trade.

In the past three years, the Asian Council has successively reached strategic cooperation with the National Development and Reform Commission's “One Belt, One Road” cooperation member association, the former Chinese Diplomatic Association and other institutions and institutions, and organized thousands of enterprises to “Belt and Road”. Investment in countries along the route has formed a strategic cooperation mechanism with the National Investment Bureaus such as Kazakhstan and Serbia, and has been implemented and promoted in terms of development trade, financial investment, and cultural exchanges. In recent years, several funds and enterprises have jointly launched the “Belt and Road” equity investment fund. It will follow the pace of our “One Belt, One Road” policy and provide capital assistance for the “Belt and Road” international cooperation and regional development.

Today's 2017 Asia-Pacific International Economic Cooperation Annual Meeting selects the 2014 APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting and the Yantu Lake, the venue of the “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit. It is hoped that the Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation and the “Belt and Road” will be built. Contributing to the weak, we hope that this is a pragmatic and fruitful forum. I also hope that through this event, we will give full play to the important role of private capital in the construction of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation in the “Belt and Road” and let private enterprises know more. Regarding the new path and new channel for the construction of the “Belt and Road”, we should make full use of the interconnection and trade facilitation measures in the “One Belt, One Road” strategic cooperation platform, grasp the trend of international economic and trade cooperation, and let private enterprises no longer understand the “Belt and Road”. It is a national top-level building that has nothing to do with, or a strategic feast that can only be enjoyed by state-owned enterprises and central enterprises. It is hoped that private enterprises can actively integrate into the construction of the “Belt and Road” and find their own enterprises combined with the “Belt and Road”. Contribution points, combining points and entry points, sharing a new economy Seek new development, with new future.
