The only bonded port area on the western coast of China passed the acceptance test
On August 28th, with the inspection and acceptance team composed of 11 departments including the Customs and Excise Department, the second and third phase of the Qinzhou Bonded Port Area in Guangxi and the regulatory facilities passed the inspection and acceptance minutes to confirm, the only coastal bonded port area in western China, Qinzhou Bonded Port Area, Guangxi The third phase officially passed the acceptance test, marking the new stage of China's free trade port for ASEAN cooperation, regional international shipping logistics hub and processing trade base.
The planned area of Qinzhou Bonded Port Area is 10 square kilometers. It is the closest bonded port area to China from ASEAN. It is also the only customs special supervision area with the function of importing ports of the whole country in Southwest China. Cao Kunhua, director of the Guangxi Qinzhou Bonded Port Management Committee, said that at present, the Guangxi Binzhou Bonded Port Area with an investment of 16.8 billion yuan has completed a 100,000-ton waterway and eight 100,000-ton containers and multi-purpose berths, and a base of 10 square kilometers. A large number of major projects such as regulatory facilities and a 4.2 million cubic meter crude oil reserve.
The 2.5-square-kilometer phase of the first phase of Guangxi Qinzhou Bonded Port Area was fully operational on February 16, 2011. Since the first phase of the project was officially closed, Guangxi Qinzhou Bonded Port Area has become the most important crude oil import port and imported automobile and wine trading center in Southwest China. From January to July this year, the port cargo throughput of Qinzhou Bonded Port Area was 10.963 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 23%; the total import and export volume was 1.33 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.02 times.
Cao Kunhua said that after completing the second and third phases of acceptance, the Qinzhou Bonded Port Area of Guangxi will focus on the development of electronic manufacturing parks, cotton spinning industrial parks, food processing industrial parks, clothing, shoes and hats, jewelry processing and other processing and manufacturing industries, and innovative cross-border e-commerce and Foreign trade such as shore finance, financial leasing, and futures delivery will further deepen China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, build China's important bearing area for processing trade to ASEAN, and enter the functional platform of foreign investment in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.
