Recently, the Zambia China Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone held talks with the Zambia Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, and agreed to establish a bilateral coordinating committee to jointly promote the development and construction of the Zambia cooperation zone. 

After the establishment of the Coordination Committee, a new round of negotiations on the preferential policies of the Zambia cooperation zone will be carried out as soon as possible; the approval process for the application areas of the cooperation zone will be simplified, the efficiency of work will be improved; the investment in the cooperation zone will be assisted; and the relevant departments of the government will be closely communicated to understand the development and construction of the cooperation zone and policy trends. 

The establishment of the Coordination Committee marked a substantial progress in the coordination mechanism of the China-Zambia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone and will effectively promote the construction of the China Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.
