In order to implement the speech of President Xi Jinping made in the above-mentioned meeting and the “Belt and Road initiative”, to guide and promote the private enterprises to participate in the global economic integration development strategy, Golden Bridge on Silk Road International Think Tank was founded to create a better development environment for the private enterprises’ internationalization.

Foreign Affairs, reviewed the evolution of the international situation in the
past 70 years, and analyzed in depth the major changes in the international
situation in recent years, especially in 2018, and proposed several major
trends in the situation, and looked forward to the international trend in 2019.
Ji Peiding pointed out that the current world pattern is in a historic process
of accelerating evolution. The rise of emerging markets has become an
irresistible historical trend. China adheres to the path of peaceful
development and plays a pivotal role in the international arena. Looking
forward to 2019, with the implementation of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative
proposed by China, we will further build a new platform for international
cooperation, which will create valuable opportunities for emerging markets and

Hu Zhangliang, First Deputy Director, Department
of African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, introduced the status quo and
prospects, opportunities and challenges of China-Africa cooperation, and made
recommendations on how private enterprises can better participate in
China-Africa cooperation in the new era. Hu Zhangliang pointed out that the
international situation has undergone profound and complex changes. Africa has
become an important pole in the international political arena and has become a
potential stock of global economic growth. China-Africa relations have entered
a golden era of comprehensive, rapid and in-depth development. The strategic
mutual trust between the two sides has reached the highest level in history,
the economic ties are unprecedentedly close, the cooperation layout is more
perfect, and the leading position in international cooperation is more
prominent. Private enterprises have always played an important role in
China-Africa cooperation. They should further seize the opportunity, adhere to
the concept of sincere and tolerance, and on the basis of doing their homework,
enhance the level of participation and cooperation, and make new contributions
to China-Africa cooperation.

historical culture, human geography and other characteristics of North Africa,
the development opportunities of North African countries, and the cooperative
relationship between China and North African countries. Liu Yuhe pointed out
that the relationship between China and North African countries has entered the
year of "knowing the destiny". With mutual political trust and
economic benefit, they are good partners and good examples of cooperation. Liu
Yuhe also put forward suggestions on how to make good use of the "One Belt
and One Road" for private enterprises, how to have an international vision,
and how to practice internal strength in the process of "going out".
